Uttarakhand: In Rudrapur, the team that reached to remove encroachment was attacked, stones were pelted, JCB driver’s head was broken
People attacked the team which had come to remove encroachment in Rudrapur. As soon as the JCB driver started the action of breaking the encroachment, the angry people attacked the JCB driver. People pelted stones fiercely. Due to which the JCB driver was badly injured.

The PWD officials who arrived with heavy police force and administration in Bhagwanpur Koldia of Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar district started the work of breaking the encroachment on the land with the help of two JCBs. Angered by this, the people attacked the JCB driver. People pelted stones and injured the JCB driver. Police officials reached the spot and pacified the matter.
Action was being taken after the order of the High Court
According to the information received, after the order of the High Court in Bhagwanpur Koldia of Rudrapur, the action of removing the people occupying the land of the Public Works Department was started. Angry people created a ruckus with the action, but despite this the action continued. On getting the information, MLA Shiv Arora also reached the spot and instructed to give 24 hours time to the people. But as soon as the MLA left, the team again started demolishing the construction.
JCB driver’s head broken
Due to the encroachment action starting again, people started taking out their belongings. On which the MLA reached the spot again and stopped the action and returned the JCB. He also reprimanded the Executive Engineer of PWD. After the MLA stopped the encroachment action, the crowd went out of control. During this, a person from the crowd hit a stone on the head of JCB driver Ashok. The JCB driver got injured due to stone pelting.
The police took the JCB driver to the hospital for treatment. Where he is being treated. The police took some people into custody to calm the matter. There was a ruckus there due to the detention of people. When there was a ruckus, the police had to release the people who were taken into custody.
