Uttarakhand / Udham Singh Nagar: A fierce fire broke out in the house, a woman was burnt alive and died
A sudden massive fire broke out in a house in Naya Basti across the canal under the Kotwali area of Jaspur, creating a stir in the area. A woman also died after being burnt alive in the fire. On receiving the information of the incident, the fire department team has reached the spot.

The incident is being reported on Tuesday morning. According to the information, a fire broke out in the house of Rish Amjad, a resident of Naya Basti Jaspur, due to gas leakage. During this, Naseema wife of Rish Ahmed died on the spot after being caught in the fire. While Rish also got badly burnt while extinguishing the fire. On receiving the information, the fire department and police team reached the spot.
Fire was brought under control after a lot of hard work
The fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control after a lot of hard work. The police have taken the body of the deceased into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Fire department officer Shyam Bahadur Thapa said that the cause of the fire is said to be gas leakage. Along with this, all the items kept in the house have been burnt to ashes.
