Uttarakhand: 212 students of government polytechnic colleges got jobs, CM Dhami handed over appointment letters

An appointment letter distribution ceremony was organized by the Uttarakhand Technical Education Department. Under which appointment letters were handed over to the youth selected in various industrial institutions. CM Pushkar Dhami himself and Technical Education Minister Subodh Uniyal handed over appointment letters to 212 youth selected in 26 industrial units.

Let us tell you that during these 3-year tenure of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Technical Education Department has linked 7,421 children with employment in various sectors. Actually, every year an employment fair is organized by the Technical Education Department. In which all the industrial units participate. In this episode, an employment fair was organized at Dehradun Polytechnic College on 6 June 2024. For which 1,875 youth had registered. 65 companies participated in this employment fair. In which many children were selected.

About 65 percent of the students have got employment

The Director of Uttarakhand Technical Education Department said that the result of the students has not come yet. Despite this, about 65 percent of the students have got employment. In such a situation, the Technical Education Department has set a target of providing employment to 75 to 80 percent of the children this year. Under which the Technical Education Department is continuously organizing employment fairs. So that 100 percent of the students can be provided employment.

What did CM Dhami say?

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated all the youth who got the appointment letter. He said that this appointment letter is the first step of the children’s dreams. In such a situation, there is respect for hard work, dedication, diligence and statue, which has been received today in the form of appointment letter. Also said that the state government has tried to ensure that every youth gets employment opportunity.

He said that the government has succeeded in creating such an environment in the state, under which the private sector is also playing an important role in the field of employment. The development of non-government industrial units is a major pillar of our development. There is no dearth of talent in Uttarakhand. What is needed is that the talents get opportunities and right direction. In such a situation, the state government is working towards providing opportunities to the youth of the state as well as giving them the right direction.

CM Dhami said that within the last 10 years, there have been big advancements in all the areas of the country. Also, a new work culture has emerged in the country on the basis of performance. The priority of the state government has been to provide employment to as many youth as possible. As a result of this, appointment letters have been distributed to all the youth today.
