Uttarakhand: CM Dhami will attend the meeting of NITI Aayog, will propose to allocate schemes on the basis of 8 crore population

The ninth Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog is going to be held in Delhi on 27th July under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this meeting of NITI Aayog, the document ‘Developed India @ 2047’ will be discussed towards making India a developed nation. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also attend this meeting. In the meeting, CM Dhami will propose to connect one river to another and allocate schemes on the basis of 8 crore population.

On the question of topics related to Uttarakhand in the meeting of NITI Aayog, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the meeting of NITI Aayog is also the Chief Minister’s Conclave, which takes place twice a year under the leadership of the Prime Minister. In such a situation, all important topics related to Uttarakhand will be discussed during the meeting. He said that there is a point model Uttarakhand, on which the government has been talking continuously, it will also be discussed.

CM Dhami said that all the schemes are given by the central government on the basis of the population of the state. In such a situation, during the meeting of NITI Aayog, this topic will be raised that even though the population of Uttarakhand is 1 crore 25 lakh, every year devotees come to visit Chardham, Kanwariyas come for Kanwar Yatra and tourists come to the state throughout the year. If all of them are added, this number reaches 8 crores. Infrastructure facilities have to be arranged for many times more people than the population of the state. In such a situation, schemes should also be given keeping in mind the floating population.
