Railways gets Rs 5131 crore in Uttarakhand, four new projects will get momentum

Uttarakhand has received Rs 5131 crore for railways in the general budget. This information was given by Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav in a virtual press conference on Wednesday. He said that the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line and four new projects will also get momentum. At the same time, the work of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line will be completed by 2026.

The Railway Minister said that DPR of Rishikesh, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Garsain, Bageshwar, Tanakpur and Dehradun-Saharanpur rail line will also be made.
