Uttarakhand: CM Dhami reviewed CM Helpline 1905, gave instructions to the officials for quick solution of public problems

While reviewing CM Helpline-1905 at the Secretariat on Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to regularly review the CM Helpline for quick resolution of public problems. He said that the officers should ensure that the complaints of the officer at whose level are, are resolved at their level itself. Complaints should not come to the higher level unnecessarily. The Chief Minister directed that in the review meeting of CM Helpline, details should also be given about how many meetings were organized by the secretaries in charge of the districts to resolve various problems in the districts and which important problems were resolved. He directed that all the District Magistrates should ensure that BDC and Tehsil Diwas are organized regularly and district level officers should also compulsorily participate in them.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the web portal of e-archives district Dehradun. The records of the tehsils of Dehradun district have been scanned and uploaded on the portal. The Chief Minister directed that other districts should also move forward rapidly towards creating web portals through e-archives. The Chief Minister directed the officials to dispose of pension related cases of retiring personnel in a time bound manner. It should be ensured that no one has to make unnecessary rounds of offices in pension related cases. He has instructed the Chief Secretary to regularly review the pension cases of the departments.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also spoke on the phone with 06 complainants who had lodged complaints on the CM Helpline. The problems of three complainants had been resolved. Among the three complainants whose problems had not been resolved yet, Mohan Singh of Bageshwar had complained that a big tree behind his house was in a state of falling, whose roots had cracked, due to which there is a danger of the tree falling on his house. The Chief Minister directed the District Magistrate Bageshwar to resolve their problem soon and provide the information to the CM office. Rakesh Kumar Agarwal of Udham Singh Nagar had complained that his electricity bill was coming in RDF, interest of Rs 9 thousand was imposed on him for not depositing the bill. He demanded that the actual bill be made available. The Chief Minister directed the UPCL officials to resolve their problem soon. Arun Ahulwalia of Dehradun complained that he has retired on 31 August 2023, he has got the benefit of pension, but has not received the insurance money. The Chief Minister directed the officials of the Education Department to make his insurance amount available as soon as possible.

In the meeting, Director ITDA Nitika Khandelwal informed that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, arrangements have been made to register the feedback of the complainants regarding the disposal of complaints in the CM Helpline. Officers will be given training in Dehradun and Nainital from August 07 for organizing CM Helpline 1905 and Digital Tehsil Diwas at the divisional level.

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary L. Fanai, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Nitesh Jha, Radhika Jha, Dilip Jawalkar, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Chandresh Yadav, Brijesh Kumar Sant, Dr. V. Shanmugam, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, S.N. Pandey, heads of various departments and District Magistrate were present in the meeting through virtual medium.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
