Truth and Reality

When his fingers got cut, he held the brush with his elbow, this painter’s story will teach you how to live

There are many people in the world who lose to their circumstances and end their lives or go into depression for the rest of their lives. But there are some people who fight their circumstances and stand up once again and set out to challenge the world. The story of the person we are going to tell you about today is also similar. He has created his own identity by fighting his circumstances on the strength of his courage.

When his fingers were cut, he held the brush with his elbow

Nainital resident Sachindra Bisht makes very good paintings. Every stroke of his brush is done so cleanly that people who see the painting are unable to differentiate between reality and painting. But another special thing about these paintings is that Sachindra makes them by tying the brush to his elbow. Actually, due to an illness, Sachindra had to have both his hands and both his legs cut off. After which he made painting his full time work.

Sachin has also worked with Adobe

Basically from Nainital, Sachin has worked as a graphic designer, animation, video editor and documentary maker in Mumbai. He has achieved a lot of success in this. He also worked with Adobe for a long time. But then his love for mountains brought him back to Uttarakhand where while living in Nainital, he started teaching people rock climbing on artificial walls as well as rocks.

A fever changed Sachin’s life

While living in Nainital, Sachindra was doing all kinds of adventures. Then suddenly one day in March 2023, Sachindra got a fever. Even after taking a lot of medicines, Sachindra’s condition did not improve and then he went into septic shock. When Sachindra regained consciousness after 15 days, he came to know that he had gangrene. To avoid this, his hands and legs would have to be amputated. After this, both Sachindra’s hands up to the elbows and the front part of the legs were amputated.

Started life again with painting

After recovering from the hospital, Sachindra made his childhood hobby a means of his livelihood, that hobby was painting. After this, he started painting by tying a brush to his elbow. During an exclusive conversation with Khabar Uttarakhand, Sachindra says, “I used to tell my friends that even if something happens to me, I will still paint by holding the brush in my mouth.”

Sachindra is an inspiration for every person in the world

Sachindra proved his words right because even after painting with his elbow, Sachindra makes such paintings that people cannot stop praising him. Many of his paintings look absolutely realistic. Today Sachindra is facing the most difficult situations of his life and is taking his art to new heights. But everyone is praising his indomitable courage and immense love for art. Sachindra is an inspiration for every person in the world today.
