Entry in sleeper coach on waiting ticket of train is closed, if one seat is confirmed and the other is waiting then this will happen, Railway rules changed

A few days ago, the issue of not getting confirmed seats in trains was raised in the Indian Parliament. Actually, passengers with waiting tickets forcefully enter any compartment of the train. In such a situation, passengers with confirmed tickets are troubled. Their journey becomes a problem. Almost every day, people with confirmed tickets have to face this big problem in all trains.
Know the new rules of railways
Indian Railway Administration was receiving a large number of complaints related to this every day. After this issue was raised in the Indian Parliament, now the Railway Administration has come into action. With this action of the Railways, now people traveling in sleeper coaches with waiting tickets should be careful. Now those passengers with waiting list will not be able to travel in sleeper coach. A campaign has been started against this by the Railways. Such passengers are being fined. They are being sent from sleeper coach to general coach. If you are now confused about waiting tickets, then we also tell you its solution.
Waiting ticket taken from booking window will not allow travel in sleeper coach
If you book a ticket online and it is in waiting list, then if it is not confirmed, the ticket will be automatically cancelled. As soon as the ticket is cancelled, your money is refunded. However, till now people think that even if they take a waiting ticket from the booking window, they have the right to travel in the sleeper coach of the train. Actually, this is not so. Railways has clarified that waiting ticket taken from booking window does not give permission to travel in sleeper coach. With such ticket, the passenger can travel only in general coach. Now, if a person is caught travelling in the sleeper coach of the train with a waiting ticket, then he will have to face punishment.
If the rule is broken, this much fine will be imposed
Railway officials are saying that during checking, TTE can charge fine from where the train started to where it will end. If the passenger is travelling in sleeper coach on a waiting ticket, then he will be sent to general coach. Railway officials are saying that the patrolling of GRP (Government Railway Police) and RPF (Railway Protection Force) has been increased in trains. This patrolling has been increased so that passengers with waiting tickets do not become a cause of trouble for passengers with confirmed tickets.
This is why waiting tickets are issued: Railway officials say that there is a separate arrangement for waiting ticket booking in different trains. Waiting tickets are also available in the coach so that if a passenger with a confirmed seat cancels the ticket, then the railway does not incur a loss. Therefore, such passengers are given the facility to travel. In such a situation, the railway also gives waiting tickets to the passenger. When the number of passengers with confirmed tickets in the train is equal to the seats, then those with waiting tickets are allowed to travel in the general coach only.
What will happen if one seat is confirmed and the rest are in waiting?
Railway experts say that if the booking window ticket is made, then if more than two passengers have their tickets booked on the same PNR (Passenger Name Record) in the sleeper coach and only one seat is confirmed, then also the waiting list passengers can travel with that passenger. The passenger with the confirmed ticket can make them travel on his own seat. The waiting list of such passengers is confirmed only when a passenger with a confirmed ticket cancels his ticket. After this, RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) seat is arranged. By taking RAC ticket, passengers can comfortably travel on a confirmed seat in the train.
Arrangement of waiting tickets in different zones
There is a system of giving waiting tickets according to the fixed number of seats in different zones of the railways. Waiting tickets are given only up to a maximum of 10% in the trains of South Zone i.e. Southern Railway. In many trains of North Zone i.e. Northern Railway, waiting tickets are booked equal to the number of seats in the sleeper coach. There are five sleeper coaches in the Pushpak Express train. There can be about 360 confirmed tickets. The same number of waiting tickets are also given. Therefore, passengers with confirmed seats in this train also have to face a lot of trouble during travel due to passengers traveling on waiting.
Senior DCM (Senior Divisional Commercial Manager) of Northern Railway Rekha Sharma says that window waiting ticket is valid only for traveling in general coaches. Senior DCM says that even if a passenger has a window waiting ticket, he is not eligible to travel in sleeper or AC coach. One can travel in sleeper coach only when there is RAC or confirmed seat. If there are tickets of many passengers on one PNR, and if even one of them is confirmed, then all the passengers can travel in the coach.
