On the pretext of Congress’ Kedarnath Pratishtha Raksha Padyatra, closeness is increasing between the veteran leaders. Former CM Harish Rawat, former minister Harak Singh Rawat, Ranjit Rawat, who were part of the yatra that reached Rudraprayag, held a meeting together and had refreshments. Kedarnath Pratishtha Yatra will start from Chandrapuri (Augustmuni) today on 31st July and will reach Guptkashi by evening via Kund. The total distance of the padyatra will be 26 km.

Kedarnath Pratishtha Raksha Padyatra has moved ahead from Rudraprayag under the leadership of Congress state president Karan Mahara. All India Youth Congress President BV Srinivas will join the yatra on Wednesday. The State Congress Committee has sent invitations to many national leaders to come to the yatra, but the program of big leaders has not been decided yet.
