Nitish Kumar’s party clarified its stand on Waqf Board, Lalan Singh said- ‘Where does this bill refer to Muslims…’

An MP from Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party has made a big statement on the Waqf Board Bill presented in Parliament on Thursday (August 08). JDU MP Rajiv Ranjan alias Lallan Singh, while clarifying his stand, said that how is the Waqf Board Bill anti-Muslim? It is being brought for transparency.

Union Minister and MP Lallan Singh said, “Listening to many honorable members, it seems as if the amendment brought in the Waqf Board Act is anti-Muslim. How is it anti-Muslim? Here the example being given is of temple and gurudwara managers, if you do not understand the difference between a temple and an institution, then what kind of argument is this.”

Lalan Singh said, “Congress MP KC Venugopal is talking about minorities. Who killed thousands of Sikhs in this country? Everyone knows that Congress has done this. Sikhs were killed by roaming on the streets. Transparency will come through this bill. This is my request to everyone.” Government has the right to make laws: Lallan Singh

Union Minister Singh roared while presenting his point. Regarding the Waqf Board, Lallan Singh said that no attempt is being made to tamper with your mosque. This is an institution made by law, a law is being brought to make that institution transparent. There should be transparency. If any institution made by law becomes autocratic, then the government has the right to make laws to bring transparency in it. These people are comparing it with a temple. There is no division in the name of religion. These people want to spread confusion.
