Uttarakhand: Government schemes and policies will reach the public effectively, Uttarakhand Information Director General has deployed nodal officers in 13 districts
To effectively publicise government schemes and policies among the public, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari has deployed nodal officers in all 13 districts. All these nodal officers will visit their respective districts from time to time and coordinate with the local media.
Additional Director Ashish Kumar Tripathi has been appointed as the nodal officer for Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal and Nainital, Joint Director Kalam Singh Chauhan for Rudraprayag and Chamoli, Joint Director Nitin Upadhyay for Tehri Garhwal and Uttarkashi, Deputy Director Manoj Kumar Srivastava for Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Haridwar, Deputy Director Ravi Bijarnia for Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat and Almora. Responsibility of officers has also been fixed to publicise the development schemes of the state government in all the districts of Kumaon division.
Director General of Information himself, Additional Director Ashish Kumar Tripathi, Joint Director Dr. Nitin Upadhyay and Deputy Director Ravi Bijarnia will be present in the office located in Haldwani in a cyclic order once in 15 days. For media coordination during the Chief Minister’s visit to Delhi, Additional Director Ashish Kumar Tripathi, Joint Director KS Chauhan and Deputy Director Ravi Bijarnia will be responsible in rotation.
