A case of attempted fraud by wearing saffron clothes has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. When the villagers suspected fraud, the youths wearing saffron clothes were beaten up with kicks and punches. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. The police have taken the accused youths into custody and started investigation.

The police said that half a dozen youths roaming in the guise of Baba in Sarai Mahura village of Gosaiganj in Lucknow were held hostage and beaten. The villagers first came to know that the accused were snake charmers, but they used to cheat people in the guise of Baba. All the accused roaming in the guise of Baba are Hindus. All of them are residents of Meerut.

Beaten with kicks, punches and slippers
Angry villagers have beaten up all of them on suspicion of fraud in the village. Angry people have beaten up the youths wearing saffron clothes with kicks, punches and slippers. All the youths wearing saffron clothes are also seen apologizing to the villagers with folded hands. The police rescued the saffron-clad youths from the angry villagers and brought them to the police station. They could not answer the villagers’ questions properly
The villagers told that all these youths were roaming around in the village wearing saffron clothes. When they were questioned, they were not able to answer any questions properly. After this, the villagers suspected that they had come to the village with the intention of committing fraud. The angry villagers beat them up badly. Later the police took him with them.
