Uttarakhand: CM Dhami inspected PHQ, said in a strict tone, no one who commits crime in Devbhoomi should be spared

Amidst the questions being raised on increasing crime and law and order in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami today conducted a surprise inspection of the Police Headquarters. During this, he took stock of the arrangements.

CM Dhami gave these instructions to the police officers

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed displeasure over the increasing crime in Uttarakhand and directed the officers to strengthen the law and order, run verification drives as well as improve the traffic system. Along with this, CM Dhami directed the officers to take strict action on crimes like love jihad and conversion and deal strictly with the anarchic elements. CM Dhami instructed the police officers to make more use of technology to crack down on criminals.

The person committing crime in Devbhoomi should not be spared: CM

The CM said that the excellent functioning of the police is very helpful in providing a safe environment to women and justice to the common people. The behavior of the police should be friendly with the common people, along with this, there should be fear of police in the minds of the criminals. CM Dhami said Uttarakhand is ‘Devbhoomi’, we are ready to take the strictest steps to maintain its original form. CM took feedback from the officials on the obscene act with a teenager in Chamoli, robbery of crores in Haridwar, rape case in US Nagar, Nainital and Almora. Along with this, instructions were given to take action against the accused.
