Uttarakhand: CM paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary, wished him on Teacher’s Day

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today paid tribute to former President, educationist and philosopher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary by offering flowers to his picture at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also wished all the teachers a Happy Teacher’s Day.

Chief Minister Dhami said that teachers are nation builders in the true sense. Teachers play an important role in building the character of the students and making them worthy citizens. Teachers make an important contribution in nation building by educating the students and also have a big role in giving a new direction to the society.

CM Dhami said that teachers also have an important participation in the successful implementation of the schemes run by the state government for the development of education. The country and society move forward where the Gurus are respected. We have to make the great Indian tradition of respect and reverence towards our Gurus even stronger.
