Truth and Reality

India alliance’s victory in Haryana’s defeat, BJP’s victory will trouble Modi-Shah!

Surprising signs are visible in the vote counting so far in the assembly elections held in Haryana and Jammu Kashmir. If we believe the results and trends after the counting of votes so far, then in Haryana BJP seems to be forming the government for the third time in a row, refuting the claims of all political pundits. On the other hand, Congress and its allies seem to be getting majority numbers in Jammu Kashmir. On paying a little closer attention to the election results of Haryana and Jammu Kashmir, it is known that India alliance has won this election. On the other hand, there is a need for BJP to be worried even after winning in Haryana. Let us understand the new political equation formed by the election results of these two states.

India alliance wins in vote percentage in Haryana

If we look at the results so far in the Haryana assembly elections, India alliance has won here. This victory is not in terms of seats, but definitely in the vote percentage figures. According to the votes counted so far, Congress has got the highest number of votes i.e. 40.03 percent. On the other hand, BJP has got 39.79 percent votes.

The point to be noted here is that Aam Aadmi Party has got 1.65% votes. If All India Alliance had contested the assembly elections in Haryana unitedly like in the Lok Sabha elections, then there could have been a big difference in the result in terms of seats. Because if we look at the percentage of votes, then 40.03+1.65 becomes 41.68%. If we compare it with BJP, then this difference is of 1.89%. BJP’s think tank will also agree that how big a difference 1.89% votes can make in a bilateral contest.

It is also worth noting here that in the counting of votes so far in the Haryana assembly elections, there are about 28 such seats where the difference between the BJP and Congress candidates is 5 thousand or less votes. In such a situation, if Aam Aadmi Party had contested the Haryana elections with Congress, then it could have had a different effect.

By not listening to Rahul Gandhi, Hooda made the same mistake as Kamal Nath

Congress sources say that Rahul Gandhi wanted an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party at the last moment in the Haryana assembly elections. But sources say that this alliance could not happen due to the overconfidence of Bhupendra Singh Hooda and his son Deependra Singh Hooda. When Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail in the middle of the elections, it seemed that the alliance between Congress and AAP was almost certain, but Hooda was not ready for it.

Let me remind you here that during the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, Kamal Nath was seen to be overconfident. He refused to take Samajwadi Party along and also made a boastful statement in the name of Akhilesh Yadav. Looking at the Haryana assembly elections, it seems that Bhupendra Singh Hooda also made the same mistake as Kamal Nath and Congress’ dream of winning another state remained unfulfilled.

Maintaining India alliance proved effective in Jammu Kashmir

Rahul Gandhi’s advice was fully followed in the Jammu Kashmir assembly elections. Under this, Congress and Farooq Abdullah’s party National Conference entered the elections in alliance and they are seeing benefits from it. In Jammu and Kashmir, which has 90 assembly seats, India alliance seems to be forming the government by getting more than 50 seats. On the other hand, BJP, even after removing Article 370, seems to be limited to just 28 seats.
