Uttarakhand: Even after warning, potholes in the roads, CM Dhami is angry, gave instructions to fix them within 15 days

CM Dhami had given instructions to make the roads of the state pothole-free by October 15. But even after the date of October 15 has passed, there are potholes on the roads of the state. On which CM Dhami has expressed displeasure. After the potholes on the roads were not filled in the stipulated time, the CM has now given 15 more days to fill them.

CM Dhami angry due to potholes in the roads even after warning

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had given time to the Public Works Department to fill the potholes on all the roads of the state by October 15. But even after October 15, patch work has not been completed in 536 kilometers of roads in the state yet. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has expressed displeasure in this matter and he has directed the Public Works Department to complete the patch work in all the roads of the state within the next 15 days i.e. by October 31.

All potholes were to be filled by October 15

Patch work was to be completed in 2429.56 km of road in Uttarakhand. Till now, patchwork has been completed on only 2316.46 km of roads in the state. The maximum work of 96.25% has been completed in Dehradun. But only 63.80% patch work has been completed in Haldwani. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat has taken a dig at the government on this matter and said that in the state it is not known whether there is a road in the potholes or there are potholes in the road. The condition of the roads of the state is very bad.

Congress took a dig at the government over pothole-free roads. Former Uttarakhand Congress state president and senior MLA Pritam Singh has said that Public Works Department Minister Satpal Maharaj had brought a pothole-free app. Only Maharaj would know how much benefit he got from it. The condition of the roads is not hidden from anyone.
