Uttarakhand: Raid campaign continues in Roorkee, medicine samples will be sent for testing

After complaints of sale of fake and banned medicines in Roorkee, the series of raids is going on under the leadership of Drugs Control Inspector Anita Bharti. During the raid, samples of some medicines were taken which will be sent for investigation.

Raid campaign of Drugs Inspector continues in Roorkee

In the past few days, some medical stores were locked due to cleanliness and other irregularities. After which raid action has been taken once again. Drugs Inspector Anita Bharti said that an inspection was done at the medical store located at Rampur Chungi. During this, samples of some medicines were taken and sent for investigation.

The Drugs Inspector said that when the raid was conducted recently, the store was locked due to the absence of the owner of the medical store located at Rampur Chungi. Today the lock of the store was opened in the presence of the medical owner and the medicines were thoroughly examined. Drugs Inspector Anita Bharti said that the complaints of sale of fake or banned medicines are serious and strict action is being taken on such cases.

Departmental action will continue against stores where irregularities are found

Drugs Inspector Anita Bharti also clarified that departmental action will continue against the medical stores where irregularities have been found. The inspector also said that other medical stores in the city are also being monitored and this raid campaign will continue in the coming days. So that the availability of safe and certified medicines can be ensured to the public.
