The death of the girl has created an uproar among the family members.

Gurpreet Singh was washing his hands from the tap when a leopard came out of the sugarcane field and attacked him, grabbed his neck and dragged him away. Hearing the noise of the family and the people around, the leopard ran away towards the forest. The teenager was rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

The leopard picked up a three-year-old innocent playing in the courtyard

Where in Udham Singh Nagar, a leopard made a teenager its prey. On Thursday evening itself, in Bageshwar, a leopard picked up a three-year-old innocent playing in the courtyard with her grandmother and younger brother. According to the information received, in Aulani village of Kanda Tehsil Dharamghar forest range, a leopard picked up Ravi Upreti’s three-year-old daughter Yogita from the courtyard.

When the family and the villagers ran after the leopard making noise, the leopard left the girl at some distance and ran away towards the forest from there. But by then the girl had died. There is anger among the villagers after this incident. He has demanded the forest department to catch the leopard soon.

Two people injured in leopard attack

On Wednesday, a leopard attacked two bike riders in Ranikhet of Almora district. According to the information received, Kshetra Panchayat member Khirkhet Neeraj Tiwari and his friend Dharmendra Chaudhary were returning home on their bike late Wednesday evening. But during this time a leopard attacked them near Gwad State. Due to which their bike went out of control. When both of them made noise, the leopard ran away from there. But both were injured in the leopard attack.
