Uttarakhand: Sports Minister inspected Rudrapur Sports Stadium and gave these instructions to the officials
In view of the National Games, Sports, Youth Welfare, Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya conducted a field inspection of the velodrome and multi-purpose hall under construction at Rudrapur Sports Stadium. She has instructed the officials to get the work done with quality.

Sports Minister Rekha Arya conducted a field inspection of the velodrome and multi-purpose hall under construction at Rudrapur Sports Stadium. Let us tell you that the international level velodrome under construction at a cost of 22.5 crores has a circumference of 333 meters. Along with this, a velodrome pavilion was constructed which has a seating capacity of 700. During the inspection of the velodrome, the Assistant Engineer of the construction unit Drinking Water Construction Corporation (Sports) said that the work of the velodrome will be completed by November 10 and testing will start.
Instructions to pay special attention to quality in work
During the inspection, Minister Rekha Arya, along with giving instructions to pay special attention to quality in work, also gave instructions to construct a shed above the velodrome pavilion. He said that whatever additional work is required apart from the project, take the advice of technical experts and send it after making the courtyard.
After this, the Sports Minister inspected the multi-purpose hall built at a cost of 40 crores in the stadium. During the inspection, the Assistant Engineer told that the construction work of the multi-purpose hall has been completed, a pavilion has been built in the hall to seat 1200 people. During the inspection, the Sports Minister gave instructions to make VIP boxes for VIP seating in the multi-purpose hall and install AC and make adequate lighting arrangements.
Hosting the National Games is a matter of good fortune
Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that the 38th National Games are to be organized in the state and under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state has got the opportunity to organize the National Games. It is a matter of good fortune for us that we are organizing all 34 games in the state itself as per national standards.
Out of which 4 to 5 games will be organized in Rudrapur. He said that all preparations are being made for the national sports event. There is no shortage of funds for organizing the games. All facilities will be provided to the players. He instructed to complete the work in a quality manner and as soon as possible.
