Ahead of the upcoming presidential elections in the US, former President Donald Trump has said a big thing for Hindu Americans. He has vowed to protect the interests of Hindu Americans and protect them from the anti-religion agenda of radical leftists.
In an effort to strengthen ties with India, Trump also expressed his desire to increase partnership with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He described PM Modi as his good friend. Sharing a post on social media platform X, Trump wrote, “We will also protect Hindu Americans from the anti-religion agenda of radical leftists. We will fight for your freedom. Under my administration, we will also strengthen our great partnership with India and my good friend, Prime Minister Modi.”
‘State of chaos in Bangladesh’
The former President also condemned the violence against Hindus and other minority groups there after the resignation of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said, “I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians and other minorities in Bangladesh. Minorities there are being attacked and looted by the mob, which is a state of complete anarchy.”
Accused Biden of ignoring Hindus
Trump also criticized President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and said that they have ignored Hindus globally and in the United States. He said, “This would never have happened during my tenure. Kamala and Joe Biden have ignored Hindus around the world and in America. They have flopped from Israel to Ukraine and our own southern border and have proved to be a disaster for the country, but we will make America strong again and bring back peace through strength.”
Kamala Harris was also cornered on economic policies
Trump also criticized Kamala Harris on other issues including economic policies. He said, “Kamala Harris will destroy your small businesses with more regulations and more taxes. In contrast, in my last term, I cut taxes, loosened regulations, unleashed American energy, and built the greatest economy in history. We will do it again, bigger and better than ever before – and we will make America great again.”
Wished Happy Diwali
He also wished Hindus a Happy Diwali and said, “Also, Happy Diwali to all. I hope the festival of lights leads to the victory of good over evil.”
