Former CM Koshyari, who reached Lohaghat, met the BJP workers there. Former Chief Minister Koshyari said that Uttarakhand has developed a lot in 24 years. He said that today most of the villages of Uttarakhand have been connected by road with the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana of former PM late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Work being done to stop migration

The former CM said that the BJP government is running many schemes to connect rural youth with agriculture, horticulture, beekeeping, goat rearing to stop migration from Uttarakhand. Youth are being linked to more and more self-employment. He himself is engaged in this work after leaving the post of Governor.

He said that on the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many schemes are being run to take Uttarakhand forward under the leadership of the young Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami. He said that Prime Minister Modi has said that the coming decade will belong to Uttarakhand, which is going to be proved true. Uttarakhand is rapidly moving towards development. He appealed to the youth to get involved in employment as much as possible.
