Uttarakhand: Corbett’s famous Dhikala zone will open on November 15, night stay booking is full till December 25
World famous Jim Corbett National Park Ramnagar’s most famous tourist zone Dhikala will be opened for tourists on 15th November at 6:00 am after two days. From this day onwards, night stay facility for tourists will also start in different tourist zones of Corbett Park.
Let us tell you that even before opening, Dhikala tourist zone is full for night stay till 25th December. Tourism businessmen are also very happy with the arrival of tourists. Giving more information, Corbett Park’s warden Amit Gwasakoti said that all preparations have been done for Dhikala zone. Dhikala zone will be opened for tourists on 15th November at 6 am.
It is worth noting that every year before the onset of monsoon, many zones of Corbett National Park are closed on 15th June for security reasons, which now opens on 15th November. Tourists have made bookings for day visit and night stay in all the zones of Corbett Park. In which the main Dhikala, Sarpduli, Gairal and Sultan of Dhikala zone as well as Bijrani, Jhirna, Garjia, Sona River, Durga Devi, Pakharo and Mundiya water tourists will be able to enjoy night stay.
It is worth noting that there is a facility of 30 rooms in the Dhikala zone of Corbett Park. It has 12 dormitory facilities. Apart from this, there are 6 rooms and 8 bed dormitories in Gairal of Dhikala itself. There are 2 rooms in Sultan, 2 rooms in Malani, 7 rooms in Bijrani zone.
There is a facility of 2 rooms in Dhela tourism zone. There is a facility of 4 rooms in Jhirna zone. There is a facility of 2 rooms in Pakharo zone. Apart from this, there is a facility of 2 rooms in Sona river. It is worth noting that Corbett Park has earned a lot of money in the year 2023-24. Talking about the movement of tourists in the year 2023-24 till 15 June 2024, 4 lakh 36 thousand six hundred tourists enjoyed day safari along with night stay in Corbett Park. Due to which the Corbett administration has earned Rs 26 crore 29 lakh 45 thousand.
