Uttarakhand: Husband and wife found to be making pornographic reels on the banks of Rishikesh Ganga, police handcuffed them

The husband and wife who made and made pornographic reels viral on the banks of Ganga in Laxman Jhula police station area have turned out to be a couple. They have now been arrested by Laxman Jhula police. The police have instructed the accused not to make pornographic videos again. Also, if caught again, legal action will be taken and they will be arrested and sent to jail. Taking a lesson from the arrest, the husband and wife have appealed to the youth making reels not to make pornographic videos in public and places of faith.

Laxman Jhula police station in-charge inspector Ravi Saini said that a few days ago, reels (videos) shot on the banks of Ganga near Janaki Setu bridge went viral. In which a young man and a girl were seen making videos in an obscene manner. Many people had objected to this. When the matter came to the notice of the police, immediate action was taken and a case was registered against those who shot the video and uploaded it on social media in Laxman Jhula police station under FIR No. 66/2024 Section 296 BNS and 67A IT Act.

Husband and wife who made pornographic reels arrested from Roorkee

At the same time, the investigation was handed over to the Inspector in charge of Laxman Jhula. After which the accused were identified. In this episode, the police arrested a young man and a woman from Roorkee on the basis of Instagram ID and location. Both of them turned out to be husband and wife. After which the police brought both of them to Laxman Jhula police station.

Will have to appear on summons from the court and police

At the same time, both were interrogated and given a notice of section 35 (3) BNS. In which it was said that on being summoned by the court and the police, they will have to appear on the due date. At present, investigation is going on in this entire case. At the same time, after being arrested by the police, both have appealed to the youth making reels not to shoot pornographic videos in public and faith areas.
