Sword hangs over the jobs of 700 employees of Uttarakhand bodies, report sought on people who are not appointed

Municipal elections are near in Uttarakhand. Just before the municipal elections, the government has turned its eyes towards the outsourced employees recruited without posts in the bodies. In this regard, the department has sought a report from all the bodies.

Workers recruited without posts will be punished

The program for municipal elections in Uttarakhand can be released in a few days. Before the formation of new boards in the bodies, the government is engaged in identifying such outsourced employees kept in all the bodies, who have been filled without posts. According to the information received from the Urban Development Department, 8,000 outsourced employees are working in all the bodies across the state. According to the information received from different sources, out of all these 8,000 outsourced employees, about 700 employees have been recruited, whose posts were not approved.

The government has sought a report of such employees

Let us tell you that due to political interference in Nagar Panchayat, Nagar Palika and Municipal Corporations, it is often seen that many such people are given jobs, for whom no post is approved. The government has decided to take action against such posts which are not approved. At present, the government is collecting data. The government has sought information from all the bodies through the Urban Development Department about such employees whose relative posts are not approved. According to departmental information, such employees will be removed from their posts.

What ADUDD said

District Director Urban Development Department Dr Lalit Narayan Mishra said that the department has given any kind of appointment other than the posts approved in the reorganized structure on 12 June 2015. Regarding that, the department has sought information about those appointments from all the bodies. According to the instructions issued by the government, if the body pays regular salary to these employees at its own level, then recovery will be made from the concerned body only. Additional Director Urban Development Department Dr Lalit Narayan Mishra said that the department has sought clarification in this regard from all the bodies within a week.
