Uttarakhand: After Kedarnath by-election, major administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand, responsibilities of 18 bureaucrats including 13 IAS changed

The round of transfers is going on in Uttarakhand. After the transfer of IPS and PPS (Provincial Police Service) officers, now IPS, PCS and Secretariat Service officers have been transferred. In the orders issued by the Uttarakhand government, 13 IAS, 3 PCS and 3 Secretariat Service officers have been transferred.

Transfer list of IPS officers-

• The responsibility of Chairman Minority Welfare and Waqf Development Corporation has been taken back from Principal Secretary LL Fanai.
• Ranveer Singh Chauhan has been removed from the post of Additional Secretary Agriculture, Drinking Water and Director General Agriculture and Horticulture Department. Ranveer Singh has now been given the post of Additional Secretary Sugarcane Sugar and Managing Director Uttarakhand Sugar Federation.
• Dhiraj Garbyal has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Minority Welfare and Chairman Minority Welfare Waqf Development Corporation.
• The responsibility of Additional Secretary Sugarcane Sugar and Managing Director of Uttarakhand Sugar Federation has been taken back from Uday Raj. Uday Raj is retiring on 30 November.
• Anand Swaroop has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Planning.
• Vijay Kumar Jogdande has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Revenue.
• Reena Joshi has been made Managing Director Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
• The responsibility of Managing Director Uttarakhand Transport Corporation has been taken back from Anand Srivastava.
• Manuj Goyal has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
• Anuradha Pal has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Village Development and Commissioner Rural Development.
• Gaurav Kumar has been given the additional responsibility of Additional Secretary Social Welfare.
• Apoorva Pandey has been made Additional Secretary Home.
• The responsibility of Director Herbal Development and Research Institute has been taken back from Abhinav Shah.

PCS officers have also been transferred-

• PCS Ila Giri has been given the responsibility of Secretary Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Ila Giri was currently the Deputy District Magistrate of Pauri Garhwal.
• PCS Mohan Singh Barniya has been made Secretary MDDA again.
• The responsibility of Prescribed Authority State Property Department has been taken back from PCS DP Singh.

These two officers were also transferred:

• Pradeep Singh Rawat, Secretariat Service Officer, has been relieved of the responsibility of Additional Secretary Revenue and Secretary Uttarakhand Child Rights Protection Commission.
• Pradeep Joshi, Secretariat Service has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Culture and Religion along with Secretary Medical Service Selection Board.
