Case will be filed against BJP MLA Harish Shakya, he is accused of everything from land grabbing to rape
The MP MLA court has ordered prosecution against BJP MLA Harish Shakya from Bilsi assembly constituency of Badaun district and 16 others including his two brothers. The court has also sought a report from the Civil Lines police in 10 days. This order has been given on the allegations of trying to forcibly buy property worth crores of rupees against the MLA and his associates, implicating property owners by filing fake cases and gang rape.
The person who filed a complaint against the MLA and his associates in the MP MLA court is a resident of Badaun district. He alleges that his father had bought some land near Poonam Lawn in village Budhwai of Civil Lines police station area a long time ago. At that time, the deed was done in the name of grandmother and mother. Later, the grandmother made a will while she was alive and transferred this land in the name of the father. The land is worth crores.
What is the whole matter?
It has been told in the complaint that Harish Shakya, son of late Netram Shakya, resident of village Kadarabad tehsil Dataganj, was elected MLA from Bilsi. The MLA’s brothers are Satendra Shakya and Dharmapal Shakya. A gang has been formed under the leadership of MLA Harish for the purpose of capturing the properties. The members of this gang met the plaintiff and said that Harish Shakya wants to buy this land. If you do not want to sell it, then meet the MLA and refuse.
It was told that one lakh rupees were given as advance. They went to meet the MLA at his residence and told him that the total price of the land is Rs 17 crore 38 lakh 40 thousand. After this, it was decided that the land would be bought for Rs 16 crore 50 lakh. 40 percent of the land price will be given at the time of agreement, while the rest of the money will have to be paid at the time of sale deed. It is alleged that Harish Shakya immediately gave one lakh rupees as advance. After this, pressure started being made for the agreement. Then the process of harassment started.
The land was not allowed to be sold to another builder
It has been said in the complaint that for not signing the agreement, the police picked up the plaintiff’s cousin and tortured him. Fed up with this harassment, the plaintiff’s cousin committed suicide on 5 August 2022. The police did not take action on the complaint of the case. Also, the plaintiff’s aunt was taken along in the name of giving a share in the land. The aunt filed a case of murder of her son against the victim and his father through the court. On this, he tried to sell this land to another builder, but these people did not let the land be sold.
Legal complications got entangled in this. After this, the cousin’s wife filed a case of gang rape in the court. As a result, the land could not be saved. Meanwhile, the police also beat up the plaintiff by keeping him in custody for three days. While later the people of the MLA gang took him into custody and tortured him. Meanwhile, many other agreements etc. were made with the victim and his father. After this it was revealed that the accused had also gang-raped the victim’s wife. Now on protesting, old cases are being opened and threats are being given to send him to jail.
Police ordered to submit report in 10 days
Taking cognizance of the entire case, the court has ordered to register an FIR against MLA Harish Shakya, his brother Satendra Shakya, Dharmapal Shakya and their 13 companions. Some of them are accused of gang rape, some of land grabbing and some of harassment. The court has ordered the police to register a case. The order states that the concerned police station in-charge should take action within 10 days and inform the court.
