There was a stir due to fire in the Yagyashala built in Roorkee’s Nehru Stadium. People nearby informed the fire brigade about the fire. But by the time the firemen reached the spot, the Yagyashala had burnt to ashes.

The Yagyashala built for the Rudrachandi Mahayagna in the Nehru Stadium burned to ashes. After getting information about the fire, the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control, but by then the Yagyashala had burnt. Fortunately, no worship was going on when the fire broke out.
