Uttarakhand: Karan Mahara claimed to win the mayor election in Haldwani, targeted CM Yogi’s visit

Kumaon’s largest Haldwani Municipal Corporation Mayor seat has become a matter of prestige for both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress. To win the municipal body seats in the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress have also released the list of their star campaigners. Congress State President Karan Mahara, who reached Haldwani, has claimed to win all the municipal body seats in Uttarakhand.

Congress State President Karan Mahara has said that the Congress is going to win the Haldwani Municipal Corporation seat. Due to which the BJP is now bringing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for campaigning. He said that if the BJP was winning by its deeds, there would have been no need to bring CM Yogi Adityanath. He said that in this election, the Congress is going to the election with various issues including development, education, health and women’s safety. But the BJP is contesting the election with the slogan ‘If divided, they will be cut’. On the possible Haldwani visit of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said that Yogi Adityanath comes from the soil of Garhwal in Uttarakhand.

Congress was protesting in the entire state regarding the Ankit Bhandari murder case of Garhwal, but at that time UP CM Yogi Adityanath was silent. He said that where was Yogi Adityanath when Shankaracharya was insulted. Not only this, he alleged that when the rules are broken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the sanctum sanctorum of Kedarnath, Yogi Adityanath remains silent. In such a situation, the people of Uttarakhand are demanding an answer from CM Yogi Adityanath in this matter. He told the BJP to first look into its own affairs and before pointing fingers at others, also look at the fingers coming towards it. Karan Mahara said that BJP has seen its condition in the assembly by-elections. Now it is the turn of the Bharatiya Janata Party to lose the municipal elections.
