Uttarakhand: Doon’s synthetic track becomes smart for the 38th National Games, Sports Minister inspected it, preparations are also in full swing in Rudrapur

The synthetic track located at Maharana Pratap Sports College has now become a smart track. Sports Minister Rekha Arya inspected the track on Thursday. The experts building the track told Sports Minister Rekha Arya that electronic chips have now been installed in this track, due to which it will now be called a smart track. Through these chips, the computer will receive accurate data related to the player’s running without a stopwatch.

Smart track will tell the speed of the players

Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that the track is ready and marking is to be done on it in the next two days. With this facility, it will also be known how much was the speed of which player in the beginning, middle or last part of the race.

Sports Minister inspected the smart track

This will help the coaches and players in assessing the ability of the players preparing in the future and making a strategy for preparation. The Sports Minister said that the smart synthetic track is made from rubber particles of grease. Currently only two or three tracks are available in the country equipped with this kind of technology and material.

Sports Minister encouraged the players

Sports Minister Rekha Arya met the players of various teams of the state participating in the camp organized at Maharana Pratap Sports Stadium and encouraged them. Apart from this, she also inspected the venues of Wushu, basketball, gymnastics and shooting.

Players should not face any problem

Sports Minister Rekha Arya instructed the officials to work day and night in the preparation of the opening ceremony to be held on January 28. She told Special Secretary Amit Sinha that due to the participation of Prime Minister Modi in the opening ceremony, security will be very tight, but care should also be taken that the players and other participants do not face any problem due to this.

Commissioner Deepak Rawat took stock of the preparations in Rudrapur

Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat and Kumaon DIG Yogendra Singh Rawat inspected the Manoj Sarkar Stadium regarding the preparations for the 38th National Games in Rudrapur. Meanwhile, he instructed the officials to coordinate on all points related to security. Along with this, both the officials also took information about the changing room.

All preparations complete

Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat said that during the inspection almost all the preparations were found complete. Finishing work is going on at some places, which will be completed soon. He said that two agencies have reached Rudrapur regarding the games. The officials are in touch with both the agencies.

Police prepared the outline

Kumaon DIG Yogendra Singh Rawat said that the National Games will start from January 28. The players will be brought to the stadium amid security, for which the police of all the districts have prepared the outline.
