Uttarakhand: Harish Rawat voter list controversy, Harda said ‘Thank you’ to Dehradun DM, took a dig at Mahendra Bhatt
Former CM Harish Rawat was deprived of voting in the Uttarakhand civic elections. He says that on the day of voting, the Dehradun District Magistrate informed him at 6:38 pm that his name is in the voter list of Ward 58 Defense Colony instead of Ward area Majra. Whereas, he kept searching for his name in the voter list throughout the day. At the same time, now he has thanked the Dehradun DM. Along with this, he has also taken a dig at the BJP state president.
Actually, former Chief Minister and Congress stalwart Harish Rawat could not vote this time. There was a lot of discussion about this. At the same time, today Harish Rawat has shared a post on social media in a poetic style, writing ‘Jise dhodha gali gali, woh ghar ke pichhe mili!’ In which he has thanked Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal and written that, ‘Thank you DM Savin Bansal ji, the work which could not be done in the whole day, you finally took the trouble to find my name, even if it was late. For this, he is grateful to Shraddha Samhita.’
Apart from this, he has also taken a dig at the BJP state president through social media. He has written that ‘A thanks is also due to BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt. Because, he has given a very correct advice that I should be vigilant to protect my vote.’ Apart from this, Harish Rawat has further written that ‘When vote robbers have come in your political backyard, then you have to be careful to protect your vote. I will take care of this in future.’
At the same time, he has further written that, ‘Dehradun is going to get a great mayor, but he will definitely regret that he could not cast his vote for such a great person.’ He has also given a lot of blessings to Congress party’s mayor candidate Virendra Pokhriyal.
