Uttarakhand: Preparations for the possible visit of PM Modi are in full swing, district administration reached Mukhaba, also explored possibilities in Harshil

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Mukhaba and Harshil, the winter sojourn of Ganga, in the coming month of February. Seeing this, the residents of this border area of the district are very excited. Preparations have been intensified at the level of the district administration regarding the possible visit of the Prime Minister.
District Magistrate Meherban Singh Bisht today visited Harshil and Mukhwa along with the officials of various departments including the Superintendent of Police. During this, he took stock of the preparations being made by various departments and organizations for the Prime Minister’s visit. Discussed the outline of the Prime Minister’s welcome, route plan and other programs. In view of the possible program of the Prime Minister, the district administration has started the work of improving the road of Mukhwa village as well as making arrangements for electricity, water, parking etc. Ganga temple in Mukhaba is also being decorated.
The team of officials including the District Magistrate visited Mukhaba village today and inspected the parking lot and other works under construction there. Discussed with the officials of the temple committee and local villagers regarding the work to be done in the Ganga temple and its premises, including the reconstruction of the road to the Ganga temple. On this occasion, the outline of various arrangements and programs for the proposed visit of the Prime Minister was also discussed with the temple committee chairman Dharmanand Semwal and secretary Suresh Semwal and other officials. In which it was decided to build a view point on the roof of the building adjacent to the temple.
The district administration has also decided to beautify the ancient buildings of the village to welcome the Prime Minister. The officials of the temple committee and local villagers expressed great happiness on the possible visit of the Prime Minister. He said that the people of Mukhwa village, the maternal home of Ganga and the winter seat, are very excited about the arrival of Prime Minister Modi. The temple committee and the villagers have also started preparations to welcome the Prime Minister at their level. The villagers said that the arrival of the Prime Minister is sure to give a new dimension to winter travel and tourism. In the possible visit of the Prime Minister, preparations are also being made at the level of the district administration in Harshil, a picturesque tourist destination included in the ‘Vibrant Village’, and Bagori, a village inhabited by the residents of the Jad tribe. The team of officials also inspected these two villages today and drew a blueprint of various arrangements and preparations. Preparations are being made to level and beautify the premises of the garden department located at Wilson Estate in Harshil for a public meeting place.
