Regretfully! This candidate got only one vote in Uttarakhand, even his own people did not like him
Strange colors were seen in Uttarakhand civic elections. Where a candidate got only one vote, that too his own vote. The surprising thing was that even his family, relatives, friends and acquaintances did not vote for him. The result of the counting proved to be no less than a blow for him. A candidate getting only one vote has become a topic of discussion.
Counting of votes continued peacefully till late night in 17 municipal bodies of Udham Singh Nagar district, but a candidate contesting the election of ward member in a municipality of the district could not get the blessings of even his own people. The candidate had to be satisfied with his one vote, which has become a topic of discussion. Yes, the candidate contesting for the post of ward member in Nagla Nagar Palika got only one vote, it was his own vote. In the ward of 367 voters, no one voted for the candidate except his own vote.
Ward member candidate Varun Kumar got only one vote
Elections were held for the first time in Nagar Palika after the Udham Singh Nagar district came into existence. In the 7 ward Nagar Palika, the ward members fought the election with full vigor. As soon as the counting of votes took place, the heartbeat of the four independent candidates contesting the councilor election from Ward 7 Golgate started increasing, but the interesting thing was that in the ward having 367 voters, independent candidate Varun Kumar got only one vote. Even his own people did not vote for him.
On the other hand, the winning candidate Devendra Yadav got 165 votes while Gangavati Devi, who came second, got 118 votes. Whereas, Chirag Sharma, who came third, got 6 votes. On the other hand, Varun Kumar, who came fourth, had to be satisfied with only his own vote i.e. 1 vote. Apart from this, one vote was NOTA and 6 votes were found to be cancelled. On the other hand, the market is hot with discussions about the candidate who got one vote. Everyone is trying to know about that candidate.
