Uttar Pradesh: Aligarh- Dozens of women fainted in Khereshwar Dham temple, women who had come to perform Jalabhishek fainted in the crowd

On the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, a huge crowd gathered at the ancient Khereshwar Dham temple located in Lodha police station area of Aligarh. Due to the excessive crowd of devotees, many women fainted due to suffocation and heat. There was chaos on the spot due to the sudden deterioration in the health of the devotees.
The people present in the temple premises immediately helped the unconscious women and took them to a safe place. The team of doctors deployed at the fair controlled the condition of the women by giving first aid on the spot. According to the temple administration, thousands of devotees had reached the temple to perform Jalabhishek on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
Due to the large crowd, some women started feeling uncomfortable and fainted. The police and temple administration present on the spot handled the situation and controlled the crowd. The temple management has appealed to the devotees to maintain patience and perform darshan and Jalabhishek safely.
