Uttarakhand: CM Dhami took information about the treatment of the martyr’s mother, treatment is being done on the instructions of CM
On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Maheshwari Devi, a resident of Sarkot village in Chamoli, is being treated. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Dhami took information from Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari about her treatment as well as other facilities.
CM Dhami took information about the treatment of the elderly
DM Sandeep Tiwari said that Maheshwari Devi, a resident of Chief Minister Adarsh Gram Sarkot, is being treated at AIIMS Rishikesh on the instructions of the Chief Minister. Also, for their regular checkup, the team of the Health Department is going to the village and checking. Doctors said that Maheshwari Devi’s health is now improving. The health department is providing them medicines as well as nutrition from time to time as per the requirement.
CM Dhami can soon do a field inspection of Sarkot village
District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that instructions have been given to the departmental officers to speed up the development works in Sarkot village. Under which, work is being done by regular monitoring by the officials of all departments including horticulture, agriculture, animal husbandry in the village. The DM said that Chief Minister Dhami will soon conduct a field inspection of the development works being done in Sarkot.
Who is Maheshwari Devi, whose treatment information was taken by CM Dhami?
Let us tell you that Maheshwari Devi is the mother of martyr Basudev Singh (31) of Sarkot village. Havildar Basudev of Bengal Engineering was martyred in Leh on 16 August. He has left behind his parents, wife and two children. A few months ago, the villagers had informed CM Dhami over the phone that Maheshwari, the mother of army martyr Basudev, is in poor health.
The CM took immediate cognizance and sent a team of doctors to Sarkot village and directed for better treatment of the elderly. After the instructions of the CM, the elderly is being treated at AIIMS Hospital Rishikesh. Also, for his regular checkup, the team of the Health Department visits the village and checks. On Tuesday, CM Dhami took information about the treatment of the elderly from the DM of Chamoli.
