Uttarakhand: Dhami made a big announcement in the rally, there will be no interview in group ‘C’ examinations

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed a public meeting at Ramlila Maidan, Haldwani, participating in a gratitude rally organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha on the occasion of implementation of anti-copying law. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced on the occasion that any Group ‘C’ examination whether outside the Public Service Commission or being conducted by the Public Service Commission. The system of interview in all examinations should be abolished with immediate effect. This will also include technical and non-technical posts, that is, even in technical posts like JE, the system of interview will be completely abolished. In higher posts where interview is necessary, such as PCS or other higher posts, the percentage of interview will not be kept more than 10 percent of the total marks. Interview marks are also given under transparent process if less than 40 percent and more than 70 percent are given to any candidate in the interview, then the person taking the interview or the board will have to give a clear reason for the same.

Accepting the felicitations of thousands of youths present, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he was overwhelmed by the grand reception given by the youth in Haldwani. He said that no one can rob the rights of the youth who have given the examination on the basis of hard work. The state government is committed to take the strictest steps so that no one else can take advantage of the success of the youth. Under these steps, the government has made the country’s most stringent anti-copying law to prevent cheating in competitive examinations. This law will take the copycat mafia to the dungeon. The state government will not allow the future of any young fellow to be played with.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the people of the state are paramount for the government and our every decision is being taken on the basis of public sentiments. Work is being done to raise the standard of living of every section of the society. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told from the holy land of Kedarnath last year that the third decade of 21st century would be the decade of Uttarakhand. You and I are working together to implement this resolution on the ground. The state government will always try to work in the interest of the public. It is the effort of the state government that the upcoming budget should be a youth and employment oriented budget. We will try to bring such a budget which will be in accordance with the hopes and aspirations of the youth of the state. We will work to make the mothers and sisters of the state self-reliant in the coming budget and will also try to provide prosperity to the farmers of the state.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a constant endeavor of the state government to make life easier for the common people. Uttarakhand has to be made the best state only by the progress and development of the common people. He said that whatever opportunity I have got to serve Uttarakhand, I have tried to dedicate every moment of it to the state. Keeping in mind the interests of the women of the state, the state government implemented its decision to provide 30 percent reservation to women in government jobs, while the sports quota was also reintroduced. The government first implemented the new education policy in Uttarakhand. Tried to fulfill the promise made to the young players by bringing a new sports policy. Similarly, we are working to bring policies related to various departments including tourism policy, energy policy in the state, these policies will prove helpful in promoting employment in future.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the tough decision of the anti-copying law implemented in the state by the state government would work to destroy the copycat mafia. For the first time, we have done the work of putting the copycats, those who do it and those who do not implement the procedures properly, in the dungeons of the jail. He said that whatever investigation is being conducted by our government in the recruitment scam at present, I myself am continuously supervising the investigation and action to ensure that the investigation is fair and no mafia or criminal is spared. The Government has also requested the Justice of the Hon’ble High Court to supervise the entire investigation so that there is no lacuna in the investigation, no partiality, no mafia or criminal is spared. In this law, we have made a provision for severe punishment for both those who cheat in competitive examinations and those who cheat. Where the criminals involved in copying will be punished with life imprisonment, fine up to 10 crores and the property acquired from the scam will also be confiscated. The government has recently done the work of successfully completing the PCS examination, in which more than one lakh youths participated.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the anti-copying law is only and only for competitive examinations and not for any school and college examinations. The policies of the Central and State Governments are inspired by the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. He said that in order to make competitive examinations transparent, our government will implement the suggestions that will come in the future as well. Working on the mantra of Antyodaya, the state government is connecting the last person with the mainstream. We are moving ahead with a vision for the dream of a developed Uttarakhand that we have seen. Our resolve is to make Uttarakhand the best state of India by the silver jubilee year of the establishment of the state.
