The drone-based Intelligent Buried Object Detection System will be sent by air by the Indian Air Force for deployment in the search and rescue operation in the Mana area of ​​Chamoli. The system will be brought to Dehradun by air. From where it will be taken to the Mana area by helicopters.

At the same time, Dehradun Defense Department PRO Lieutenant Colonel Manish Srivastava said that,

The rescue operation is going on. 50 people have been rescued in this entire operation. But among the rescued people, those who suffered serious injuries have died. Priority has been given to evacuating the injured in the rescue operation. Priority has been given to evacuating the people trapped there. The search for 5 others is still on. When this accident happened near Mana village in Chamoli on 28 February, there were 55 people there.

Therefore, all assistance including UAVs and radars can be put into service if the weather and road conditions are favorable.
