Find the horoscope of goons in 100 hours… Gujarat DGP’s order to police, preparations for big action with ‘bulldozer’
Despite the red alert issued for law and order on the occasion of Holi in Gujarat, DGP Vikas Sahay has taken charge after the hooliganism in Ahmedabad, hit and run in Vadodara and rape of a 6-year-old girl in Surat. DGP Vikas Sahay has instructed the CPs and district police superintendents of all the major cities of the state to prepare a list of goons (anti-social elements) in the next 100 hours. Police have been instructed to control crime with zero tolerance. After the order of the DGP, the police has come into alert mode in the entire state. On the open hooliganism in Ahmedabad, the Congress had directly questioned the model to CM Bhupendra Patel and Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi along with PM Modi.
What is the 100 hour plan?
DGP Vikas Sahay has given strict instructions by organizing a meeting with all the police commissioners, range chiefs and superintendents of police through video conference. The DGP has ordered to prepare a list of anti-social hooligan elements in police station areas across the state in 100 hours. The elements to be included in this list will be those who are repeatedly involved in crimes like physical crimes, extortion, property related crimes, illegal trade of drugs and gambling, mineral theft, and those who create an atmosphere of fear in the society. The police chief has given clear instructions to take strict action against these elements.
Preparation for bulldozer action!
The DGP has ordered to investigate the illegal construction, electricity connection, financial transactions of banks done by hooligan elements and take strict action. Apart from this, strict steps like PASA and Tadipar have been asked to be taken against them. All police officers have been directed to follow these orders and ensure quick action. After the order of the DGP, the police of the entire state has come on alert mode. After the list is prepared, the concerned district administration and corporations can take bulldozer action on the illegal properties of anti-social elements. The police has taken strict action against the henchmen of Bhavsar gang who openly indulge in hooliganism in Ahmedabad, while the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has started bulldozer action.
