Amid political turmoil in Uttarakhand, Congress holds a big meeting; BJP creates a ‘chakravyuh’

An important meeting of senior leaders and MLAs of Uttarakhand Congress was held at the Congress state headquarters under the chairmanship of state president Karan Mahara. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya, former state president and member of the Central Election Committee Pritam Singh, former state president Ganesh Godiyal, former cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat and MLAs attended this meeting.

All the senior leaders of the party held a separate meeting. After that, the senior leaders of the party held formal talks in the second meeting with all the MLAs. In the meeting, the Mera Vote Mera Adhikar program being run by the Congress party was reviewed as well as the outline of the programs for the next 6 months was discussed. Sharing the information, the party leaders said that the Congress will hold two rallies in Garhwal and Kumaon divisions in Uttarakhand in the coming time against the anti-people policies of the BJP.

Karan Mahara said that today the BJP sitting in power wants to win the elections by any means by depriving the people of the right to vote given by the Constitution. The Congress party will expose this conspiracy of the BJP in the coming time. He said that a campaign will be run continuously in the entire state for the next 6 months against the policies of BJP. It was decided in the meeting that how Congress should move forward on them in view of the current situation of the state. On one hand, Congress is fighting for the right to vote, on the other hand there are statements of Premchand and BJP state president. Here Uttarakhand is becoming a refuge of criminals, crimes against women are increasing. Mining mafia is dominating the state, BJP MP and former CM Trivendra Rawat himself had to raise questions about this. All these topics were discussed in detail by all the leaders in the meeting.
