Earthquake shook the earth early in the morning! People were scared by the strong tremors, ran out of the house when they woke up

An earthquake of 3.6 magnitude was felt in Leh Ladakh region in the early hours of Monday. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), this earthquake occurred at 4:32 am 58 seconds today. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at 34.35 north latitude and 78.06 east longitude in Leh Ladakh, with a depth of 10 km.
Local people said that as soon as the earthquake tremors were felt, most people woke up from sleep and came out of their homes. However, at present there is no report of any loss of life or property. The administration and disaster management teams are monitoring the situation and are ready to deal with any emergency.
Ladakh is located near the Himalayan mountain range and is therefore considered an earthquake-sensitive area. Experts say that minor earthquakes are normal in this region, but the risk of a major earthquake also remains. Due to the magnitude of the earthquake being 3.6 on the Richter scale, it is being considered mild, which usually reduces the possibility of damage.
The administration has appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumors and immediately contact the local authorities in case of any suspicious situation. After the earthquake, the team of Meteorological Department and seismologists is taking stock of the situation in the area. Experts have warned that seismic activities are possible in this area in future too, so people have been advised to remain alert. At present, the situation is under control and people are returning to their daily work.
