Nainital police has revealed the theft that took place in a house located in Devla Talla of Kathgodam police station area of Haldwani. Police has arrested three accused involved in the robbery and sent them behind bars.
The cunning people had stolen the jewellery from the closed house
Azim Khan had given a complaint to the police regarding the matter. The complainant had told the police that he had gone to Bareilly with his family on March 6. When he returned home on March 8, the lock of the house was broken. When he went inside the house, the household items were scattered. Also, the lock of the cupboard was also found broken. When the cupboard was opened, the gold and silver jewellery kept there was found missing.
Three miscreants involved in the incident were arrested
The police registered a case against the unknown accused and started the search. Two teams were formed to reveal the theft incident. The investigation teams searched the CCTV cameras installed around the incident spot. Also, the suspects were interrogated. On 27th March, police arrested three miscreants involved in the robbery incident from Devla Talla Pajaya Kunwarpur Chauraha Kathgodam.
They hid in the jungle for fear of getting caught after stealing the jewellery
According to police, all the three accused are residents of Nainital. The accused have been identified as Devendra Thapa, Ujjwal Singh Pargai and Sandeep Kumar. Police recovered the stolen jewellery from a pit in the jungle of Gola river on the directions of the accused. Police said that all the three accused are cunning.
