The massive fire that broke out in a chemical factory in Ibrahimpur village in Bahadarabad area of ​​​​Haridwar late Sunday night was brought under control after about nine hours. The factory owner and a worker died in the accident. While many people are reported to be missing. Rescue operations are on to search for them.

Fire in chemical factory extinguished after nine hours
The incident took place around nine o’clock on Sunday night. According to the information, a massive fire suddenly broke out in the Ganpati Chemical Factory located on Ibrahimpur Marg. As soon as the information was received, a team of police and firefighters reached the spot and tried to extinguish the fire. The fire took a monstrous form in no time.

Two people including the factory owner died
After about nine hours of hard work, the fire was brought under control around six o’clock on Monday morning. When the factory was searched, two bodies were recovered from inside. They were identified as Mahesh Chandra Agarwal resident Jwalapur (factory owner) and Sanjay son Dalchand resident Uttar Pradesh worker.

Police engaged in investigation
Haridwar SSP Pramod Singh Dobal reached the spot on Monday morning and took stock of the situation. Giving information about the accident, the SSP said that the cause of the accident is being investigated. There are still reports of some people missing. Their search is on.
