At least 100 people have been killed in deadly attacks on Sudan’s displaced civilian camp. This has created panic in the entire region. It is being told that the notorious paramilitary group in Sudan attacked the camps of displaced people in the Darfur region for two consecutive days. More than 100 people, including 20 children and nine aid workers, were killed in this attack. A United Nations official gave this information on Saturday.

UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan Clementine Nkweta-Salmi said that Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and allied fighters attacked the Zamzam and Abu Shorouk camps and the nearby town of Al-Fasher, the provincial capital of North Darfur province, on Friday. According to the United Nations, Al-Fasher is under the control of the army. The army has been fighting against the RSF since the civil war broke out in Sudan two years ago.

Enkweta-Salmi said in a statement that the camps were attacked again on Saturday. He said that nine aid workers present in the Zamzam camp also died in the attack. 20 children were also among those killed.
