The public outrage of Congress over the skyrocketing inflation across the country is now visible on the streets. Uttarakhand Congress on Saturday staged a strong protest against the BJP government across the state. Along with this, protests were expressed by burning effigies at various places.

Congress’s uproar over rising inflation
On the call of state president Karan Mahara, Congress workers demonstrated against the BJP government at the center across the state. In Dehradun, workers gathered at Ashley Hall Chowk under the leadership of Congress Metropolitan President Jaswinder Singh Gogi. The protesters burnt the effigy of BJP. The workers raised slogans against the government and demanded to rein in inflation.

Warning of fierce agitation
Jaswinder Singh Gogi said that every household is troubled today due to the blow of inflation. The prices of essential commodities like LPG, diesel-petrol and pulses-flour-oil are constantly increasing. But the government is turning a blind eye. Congress workers say that this is just the beginning. If the government does not control inflation soon, the movement will be expanded further.
