Uttarakhand: PCS officer Chandra Singh Dharmashaktu removed from the post of commissioner, order issued

The Uttarakhand government has decided to remove PCS officer Chandra Singh Dharmashaktu from the post of commissioner. There were constant reports of complaints against Dharmashaktu by many employees. In such a situation, the government has taken a big decision and removed him from the post of commissioner and has not given him any new responsibility for the time being.
On one hand, officers from the government to the district level in Uttarakhand are waiting for the transfer list, while in the meantime, the news of a PCS officer being removed from the post has come to the fore. The PCS officer has been removed from his current post and has not been given any new responsibility. It is obvious that the government’s decision is being linked to the complaints received against the officer for some time.
At the government level, Under Secretary Nagesh Singh Negi in the Personnel Department has given this order. In which, citing work interest as the reason, orders have been issued to remove PCS officer Chandra Singh Dharmashaktu from the post of Commissioner of Sugarcane and Sugar with immediate effect. In the order, PCS Chandra Singh has also been directed to immediately relieve himself from the current post and provide the report related to it to the government.
At present, no other responsibility has been given to PCS officer Chandra Singh Dharmashaktu. It has been clarified in the order that separate orders will be issued regarding the new deployment of the PCS officer. Recently, the Employees Union had also lodged a complaint regarding the behavior of the PCS officer. There was a state of confusion in the department regarding this for a long time. The employees were seen opposing their own officer. Amidst this situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had visited Udham Singh Nagar, so the employees also conveyed their complaint to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. It is believed that only after this instructions have been issued to remove the PCS officer from the post of Commissioner.
On the other hand, there is news of some other such officers in the state also being lightened in the upcoming list. Actually, the transfer list in the state has been discussed at the Chief Minister’s level. During this, a decision has been taken to increase the responsibilities of many officers. The responsibilities of some officers are also to be reduced. However, efforts were being made to release this transfer list quite a long time ago, but, at present the transfer list is pending at the Chief Minister’s level.
