Uttarakhand: Dhami made a big announcement, Center for Hindu Studies will be started in Doon University, said- research work will be done on topics related to Hindu civilization and culture

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Sadbhavna Sammelan and National Unity Camp organized by Manav Seva Utthan Samiti on the occasion of Baisakhi Mahaparva in Haridwar on Sunday. Congratulating Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj for the grand event, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the huge conference organized for the purpose of human welfare will not only give the message of unity and goodwill in the society but will also inspire people to serve humanity.

The Chief Minister said that our government has decided to start the Center for Hindu Studies in Doon University. Teaching and research work will be done on various subjects related to Hindu civilization and culture in this center.

Addressing the Sadbhavna Sammelan, the Chief Minister said that the ancient Sanatan Hindu culture inspires us to consider “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” i.e. the entire earth as our family. Our sages and saints have shown the path of goodwill to the people through spirituality and knowledge in the society. Walking on the same path, today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is realizing the concept of one earth-one family-one future based on the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam on global platforms.

National unity is the basis of strength and stability of any country

The Chief Minister said that national unity is the basis of strength and stability of any country. If there is mutual goodwill among the citizens of the country, then they will work together for the progress of the country. Keeping this in mind, continuous efforts are being made to strengthen the feeling of unity among the citizens in the country today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With the guidance and cooperation of the Prime Minister, our state government is also making continuous efforts to strengthen unity, equality and social harmony in the state.

Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj said that Sanatan culture has been of Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niraamaya. With this idea, India is moving towards becoming Vishwa Guru under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, MLA Adesh Chauhan, District President Ashutosh Sharma, Vinay Rohilla, District Magistrate Karmendra Singh, SSP Pramod Singh Doval and all district level officers were present.
