An elephant died a painful death after being hit by a train near Muktidham under Lalkuan Kotwali area. The matter is of Gola Range of Terai Eastern Forest Division. There is a stir in the forest department after getting the information of the incident.

The incident happened on Monday late evening. According to the information received, a male elephant died a painful death after being hit by a train near Muktidham under Lalkuan Kotwali area. Due to the strong collision of the train, the elephant fell into a house built near the track. During this, the elephant died.

There is a stir in the forest department
The employees of the forest department have taken the elephant’s body into custody. There is a stir in the forest department after the incident. It is being told that many elephants have died in the past due to being hit by a train at the said place.
