Uttarakhand: Congress protests over chargesheet against Rahul-Sonia, BJP hits back

a
Congress protested across the state over the chargesheet filed against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. BJP has termed Congress’ protest over the Herald case as the Gandhi family’s anger over the exposure of corruption.
Congress’ protest over chargesheet against Rahul-Sonia
Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal quipped that those who roamed around with the Constitution book in their hands are now openly threatening the investigation agencies and trying to put pressure on the judicial process. Bansal said that the Congress party has committed the sin of turning the National Herald newspaper, which was started by thousands of freedom fighters, into a private company. It is natural for the Congress party to feel the pain of the ongoing investigation and legal proceedings against the illegal occupation of its land worth thousands of crores. Bansal said that top Congress leaders Rahul and Sonia Gandhi are the main accused in this case and are out on bail from the court.
BJP called it corruption’s anger
Bansal said that this case makes it clear how the paper which raised the voice of freedom fighters was first made a private voice and then by misusing power from the government and private sectors, property worth thousands of crores was given in Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bhopal, Patna and many other places. Then it was shown in loss in a conspiracy and by showing a loan of 90 crores from Congress, it was acquired from Young India for just 50 lakhs, in which Sonia and Rahul have 90 percent stake. Bansal said that this corruption of the Gandhi family is being investigated, in which a charge sheet has been filed after the completion of the investigation under the guidelines of the ED. But instead of cooperating, the Congress party is agitating to save its high command who is out on bail from jail.
Bansal condemned the demonstration of Congress
Bansal said that the Bharatiya Janata Party condemns the demonstration of Congress. This reaction of the Congress party and the language of threatening the ED is very unfortunate and it is a blatant violation of the legal process of the country. Bansal quipped that Congress also has the right to protest, but it does not have the right to loot land and funds. Giving detailed information on this scam, Bansal said that National Herald was started in 1937 by 5 thousand revolutionaries as shareholders, that is, National Herald was never the property of the Nehru family, as they try to show.
