The sudden activation of Russia’s secret doomsday bunker has created a stir among strategists. Soviet-era radio station UVB-76 or ‘The Buzzer’ has sent four secret signals in the last 24 hours. The Soviet intelligence agency KGB had been using this radio station since the 70s at the peak of the Cold War to exchange secret messages. Now once again its activation has heated up the discussions. Telegram channel UVB-76 Log, which monitors the activity of the radio station, has given this information.

Four secret messages from the station

According to the channel’s report, on April 15, the radio station sent four code words as signals. These four words are – Neptune, Thymus, Foxclock and Nutaboo. Four secret messages within 24 hours are considered a rare occasion. Although the signals of these messages have not been clearly known yet, there is speculation that they are related to secret military operations or nuclear protocols.

The frequency remains active 24 hours a day

The specialty of UVB-76 is its terrifying sound, which resonates 24 hours a day and seven days a week. It is said that unless something major like a nuclear attack is about to happen, this shortwave station usually sends nothing but a static sound. However, in February the radio station sent 25 messages within 24 hours.

Many people believe that this radio station is actually a military communication device, possibly used to communicate with remote stations or activate certain military units. At the same time, some also believe that it is part of a system that will automatically activate a military response in the event of an attack on Russia.

What is UVB-76 station?

Professor David Stupples, who researches electronic warfare, told The Sun that UVB-76 is a high frequency band. It can be heard throughout Russian territory. Experts say that the advantage is that such signals can be broadcast and heard without satellites or the Internet. This makes it easier for Putin and his spies to send military intelligence under the radar. Professor Stupples said, the signal never goes out of the atmosphere.

Explaining the reason behind continuing communication from this station, he said, if the broadcasting stops and the frequency becomes free to use, then anyone can snatch the signal. Professor Stupples said that the only way you can ensure its availability is to continue broadcasting on it. So what Russia is doing is reserving this frequency.
