Uttarakhand: Be careful on these roads in Dehradun, you may face problems due to traffic jam

Under the Smart City Scheme, the work of laying drainage pipeline between Shimla bypass and Mehunwala Road of Dehradun city is proposed till 24th April. In view of which the police has diverted various routes. Before leaving the house, definitely take a look at the diversion plan.

The work of drainage line has become a headache for the people. The work of laying drainage pipeline will continue till 24th April. Traffic will be affected during the work, for which the traffic police has issued a diversion plan. The diversion plan will remain in force till the completion of the work.

This is the diversion plan

  • The traffic coming from Nayagaon will be diverted from Alka Dairy to St.Jude Chowk via Sevla Kala Cut.
  • The traffic going from St.Jude Chowk to Shimla Bypass will be sent towards Nayagaon Road from the opposite side.
  • The entry of heavy vehicles from St.Jude Chowk towards Kamala Palace will be completely banned.
  • No traffic will go from St.Jude Chowk towards Alka Dairy. Such vehicles will be sent via Sewla Kala Road.
  • If the traffic pressure increases on Alka Dairy, then the traffic going from Kamala Palace towards St. Jude Chowk will be partially diverted towards Patel Nagar Mandi.
