Uttarakhand: A couple who came to testify in Khatima court premises was beaten up in public, police and lawyers saved them, one person in custody

Some youths beat up a couple who had come to testify in their case in Khatima court premises of Udham Singh Nagar. Due to which there was a stir in the court premises. Meanwhile, the police and advocates present in the premises saved the couple from the youths. In this case, one youth has been detained by the police. While, the rest of the people managed to escape from the court premises. At present, the victim party has reached Khatima police station and submitted a named complaint. On which the police is now saying to investigate and take action. At the same time, the victim party is demanding security by saying that there is a threat to their life.

Some youths beat up the couple in public: Actually, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the Khatima court premises on Monday i.e. 5 May. When some youths beat up a local couple who had come to testify in a case filed in the court, in public. Amidst the chaos spread in the court premises due to the fight, the policemen and advocates posted in the court came into action. Then the couple was saved from the clutches of the youths who were beating them. Meanwhile, the police personnel also detained a youth. While, other youths fled from the spot.

The victim couple submitted a complaint to the police: Meanwhile, after this incident, the victim couple reached Khatima police station from the court and submitted a written complaint against the accused youths to the police and demanded action. In the case, the victim woman gave a written complaint to the police and told that she had gone to Khatima court with her husband to testify in her case. Meanwhile, as soon as she came down from the court after giving testimony with her husband, some youths started beating her husband.

The couple got injured in the fight: The victim woman says that she and her husband have been injured in the fight. Also, the police and advocates present in the court saved them from the beating of the accused people and protected them. In this case, the victim woman has accused several youths of beating and submitted a written complaint to Khatima Kotwal Manohar Singh Dasauni. Along with this, she has demanded action against all of them. At the same time, the husband of the victim has demanded security from these people, saying that his life is in danger.
